Organize, import, export, and save PGN game files

The Files section in the sidebar manages your PGN game collections.

Organizing Files

Create new PGN files or import existing ones
Organize into nested folders
Move files between folders
Edit title and description
Deleted files go to a recycle bin (30-day retention) and can be restored

Import & Export

Import: Drag-and-drop .pgn files or use the import button. Choose which storage to save to (cloud or encrypted on the web; local storage is available in the desktop app).
Export: Download any PGN file from any storage provider.

Saving Games

Press Ctrl+S on the analysis board to save the current game. You'll be prompted to select a destination file. You can configure a default save location in settings.

Sync

Files stored in both local and cloud storage are automatically synced. Chess.ceo tracks individual games with unique identifiers to detect conflicts and merge changes automatically.
